About the crossfade, the clips don't have to overlap. You just simply have to grasp the edge of the clip and drag it all the way you want through the course of clip's span. If you want it at the beginning, you have to grab the one on the left, if in the end, the one on the right, if you want it to light up from the completely dark screen, you have to grab the one on the bottom, and vice versa, haha, I hope you'll understand what I mean. You can also try to be creative and not restrict yourself and combine all the different crossfade-changes over the course of one or two clips, which may or may not overlap, you could do a full combo, lol. I hope it was helpful. Plus, did you try to change the properties of the project at the beginning, when you created it, while opening Vegas? Because there should pop a window out, asking you to change them or leave it as they are, the standard ones, but this may do the trick with the 16:9, not to mention the quality of the clips, right. Even if it didn't pop up, you can still access it, whenever you want, just let me know if you still need to do it. From what I recall, I've got Vegas 10 HD Platinum Edition on my PC, or sth like that. And I just love E.T., Katy Perry is growing on me every day, haha.

Oh, I tried that too, and sometimes it works but sometimes not. I still have to practice. Oh, absolutely. Is that how I achieve transparency over a time-span, or is there another way? Yes, quite helpful! I like transitions in general, and I am using a set in my Vista editor, too before I get more comfortable with vegas. ;D I have yet to try out all transitions. Oh I don't remember.. I don't think I did. Yes, please. I need to permanently save changes for two things: -project video properties - it is set to NTSC.. I need a suggestion which format to use for MEPs. -rendering file as... it is set to video for windows, template - DV... But I also need some help , which could sound funny. I made that video for ET, and achieved a few things which I've been trying to do again but I have no idea how I did it in the first place. The very first scene when the blonde girl zooms in - rotates a bit - zooms out. How on earth did I do that? lol That's one thing. I could come back later with two more. She rocks!

1) Open Sony Vegas 2) Right click on a clip and choose "Reverse" in the menu that pops op. And thats it!
Hows your Bree/Chuck part coming along, Arno?

Thank you, Sidsel! I didn't even begin to suspect that it was that easy, lol! I don't wanna lie to you, so to be honest it's not coming up well. BUT with the amount of free time, with winter break coming soon and my creative state of mind (my head is seriously spinning because of all the ideas I've got for my projects) and the amount of material from the first half of the season I think that it can be completed pretty quickly. I mean, how long was it supposed to be? 30 seconds? I sat down yesterday and made almost a minute-long video in no time, so whenever I'll get a little bit of time and won't get distracted I'll make it in one cold winter evening.

In the light of latest events and the way Chuck stalked on Bree, the scene selection shouldn't be a problem. I am looking forward to watching your part, Arno!
