I am shocked I haven't posted in the topic yet. I thought I already brought up the idea for my part which was : Bree/Chuck. And I'm probably still going with it. So glad I'm the only one with Bree in the pairing.  Uh-oh...Now as I think about it Susan/Andre might be good too. Maybe I'll make both and then we'll all decide. What do you think about it?  And now I've got too many ideas -- 'cause Gaby & Alejandro would be just perfect...Ugh.  |

Heh, I really need to catch up on my mep parts xD I've had exams, and just came back from vacation, AND I have a really busy week >.< But I want to get this done, so I will complete my part at some point xD And Arno, if you really can't decide between which idea to use, you can always use more then one in your part if you want  |

Ah, don't bother. I already finished my part like 3 days ago, but Vegas was being shit with the synchro of the sound and picture and also with rendering. Gonna upload it in a few minutes. And I stuck to my initial idea which is Bree vs. Chuck, inc. other girls, because I came up with pretty good clips in the end. |

So here it is, finished! I'm really proud of it, though I'm still a little bit unsure about the subtitles over the voiceovers, I don't know if I should leave them like that or get rid of them completely.  What do you guys thinl? |

It's so cool! Really great editing and you should keep the text on the video, it didn't distract me from viewing your vid. Bree and Chuck are awesome, I love your choice!
Oh and, it's unbelievable you managed to make this part in one hour or so....Penny, if you did the same, we could upload the entire vid tomorrow lol...

Now I am wondering - is there ever going to be a new MEP?
Now that DH are unfortunately gone, and vidders are not vidding them that much, what's going to happen?
However, I am looking forward to something new because I only vid DH and Melrose Place with Marcia (as of recently).

The new collab vid is GREAT! Everyone did a splendid job, it's so cool. I'm so glad to finally see it in its full, and uploaded. Penny, your Paul and Susan part is...WOW, just wow. You are really talented at editing to the beat of the song. Your editing effects are awesome and very intense. Really LOVED it! Ivana, the chances of us making another Desperate Housewives collab is very low, because of obvious reasons stated below. However, we might get together again at some time for a collab. If I get a great idea, where we're able to use any fandom, then we might make something together again, we'll see. And then I'll send out PMs to some of you on YouTube. I decided to "close" our collab channel, by writing on YouTube, in the channel info box: " Because Desperate Housewives has ended in 2012, we do not make more videos." And yeah, that means this forum will close too, but it will not be deleted. I think this is the best solution. Desperate Housewives has ended and because of this we as the editors start to loose interest and the fans who watch our collab videos, slowly disappear because they too loose their interest. I'm going to upload a few more Desperate Housewives videos (like 2 or 3) and then I will only use my new YouTube channel to upload fan videos... www.youtube.com/user/LittleMissSidsel |

Call me crazy, but I think it's unwise to 'close' the channel just because the series has came to a close. I mean -- it doesn't mean we love it any less or something. We still have plenty material of over 180 episodes to vid and I'm sure that you guys have lots of ideas, since you're such a creative bunch of people.  Just need to keep the discussion on the forum flowing and I'm sure it'll pay off. I was about to log in to ask about the next idea for a collab that we should do ASAP and then had to read sth like that? Total bummer. Hope you'll change your mind, Sidsel. xoxo, A.  ETASpeaking of our personal channels, I've been planning to create myself a new channel where I'd upload my fanvids only for a pretty long time now (especially when I've got 2 strikes as far as I remember), but still can't come up with a good name. I am also sad to "close" it, though the channel and forum will of course not be deleted, both will still be open for anyone to view, just that we won't really be making more vids. I know it would be so great if we just continued, but we gotta look at it more clearly because I really do think it is the right choice. For instance we almost took an entire year, one year! to finish one, just one mep collab vid, and that was when the show was still running. Now the show is canceled and well, we need 6 people who are willing to do parts and not just 2 or 3 (And I myself, am trying to move away from DH), so I just don't see it happening, I truly hope you can understand. Arno, good luck with coming up with a username for your new YT channel. I'm sure you'll find a great one. My usernames are always so cheesy |
